• Cimy Header Image Rotator – documentation

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • PHP >= 5.0.0
    • WORDPRESS >= 2.5.x

    INSTALLATION:

    • copy whole cimy-header-image-rotator subdir into your plug-in directory and activate it
    • create /wp-content/Cimy_Header_Images directory and set write permission for the web server

    UPDATE FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION:

    • always deactivate the plug-in and reactivate after the update

    HOW TO USE IT:

    1. first of all you need a directory where all images will be stored, the directory MUST HAVE this name: ‘Cimy_Header_Images’ and MUST BE placed under: “wp-content” dir
      example: /wp-content/Cimy_Header_Images directory and give it 777 permissions if you are under Linux (or 770 and group to “www-data” if you are under Ubuntu Linux).
    2. go to Settings -> Cimy Header Image Rotator
    3. upload some images
    4. change the swap rate as you wish
    5. copy/paste the code you find in the same page to your favourite theme, where you want: inside header.php or sidebar.php etc.
