  1. tank says:

please make Ubuntu portable version too with kde libs, i do not want to install kde libs because lot of kde stuff will stay running background after exiting kdenlive.

  2. tank:
Do You want also that I come personally to A. and install it for you?
    Certain people are just crazy.

  3. tank says:

why can you create it for Kubuntu and not for Ubuntu that is weird, really weird?

  4. tank:
    1. because I use Kubuntu and not Ubuntu?
    2. because Kdenlive uses KDE libs?
    3. because some people do not understand to SAY THANKS instead of pretending that someone works for free at their command?

    That is weird, really weird.

  5. tank says:

for this i am really grateful that you did extract and run version for Kubuntu but i asked can you do it for Ubuntu too and you attacked with your weird questions instead telling it is impossible or you just hate Ubuntu or have not time.

  6. tank:
for people like you… no I can’t. Goodbye.

  7. tank says:

i have not ever seen so rude person like you, you misunderstand everything i say so please go to vacation. look ubuntuforums there are most people very wise so please explain your actions, even my cousin who works in police wants to know your barbaric behavior ???

  8. NetAndif says:

Kkdenlive 0.5 in Hardy is buggy and i don’t want to upgrade. Now i can use Kdenlive 0.7.6, which looks nicer and runs stable. I’m using the Gnome desktop, but only needed to install a few KDE libs. Thanks very much!

  9. NetAndif:
Oh someone still reasonable exists. You are welcome.

  10. Peter says:

Marco, thank you so much for doing this. I struggled with cinelerra for making a movie for many long hours and it looks like kdenlive is a huge improvement… your package saves a lot of work for those of us that want to try it without upgrading to a non-LTS version.

  11. malangaman says:

Marco your package is great. It is a great improvement over version 0.5. I import to Kino then insert the clips into Kdenlive 0.7.6. It works wonderful, Thanks.
Do you know which KDE libraries are required for Kdenlive to import from the camera directly?

  12. malangaman:
probably you do not need any kde library, just some firewire libraries, but you didn’t specify the connection so I don’t know.

  13. malangaman says:

I use fire wire 1394 connection to a canon ZR850.

  14. malangaman:
Looking at this link (that is for Karmic not Hardy) you probably miss dvgrab package installed
    http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/kdenlive

  15. malangaman says:

    Thank you, sir.
